Image is in and out but comes on all static occasionally

Hi there,

i am working on a PS3 with display issues and I can’t get anything out of the HDMI but with AV I’ve gotten a clear image for a few seconds but always ends up going to a static screen (please reference image). Does anyone have an suggestions or have seen this before?
