Memory for Amazon kindle Fire
So i know The kindle fire comes with 8 gig internal for the memory but is there anyway you could take that out and add more? And if so, where could i purchase it?

The memory of the Kindle Fire is in the form of a small IC. You could theoretically purchase a larger chip and install it but these are not plug and play components. You would need a chip with the same pin out/dimensions and the same operating "architecture" as the original. Unless you have extensive knowledge of the inner workings of the current chip and the one you look to purchase as well as special equipment to safely solder these components w/o causing damage.

+...I would also think that your firmware needs to support the IC as well as the increase in memory...
