What is the model number of the converter?
Do you get the red standby light turning on when the power is connected to the unit?
Have you tried using both the remote control and the Power button on the unit itself to see if it turns on?

elentz@frontier.com I have the same problem .I have a model DTA1010D. I have used the remote and tried pushing the power button. I just get a red light it doesn't power on. Is there a way to reset it.
