my dlink router when plugged in only shows the internet light constantly on,green,no dsl light no power light and no wifi,even if i disconnect the internet only the green led internet light is on and i cant find the router on my phone? i tried using a different power cord but it didnt work☹️

Is your router connected with a known good cable to your modem?

sorry,im kinda stupid i dont understand what a modem is(even after googling it). its connected to the telephone/internet wire and the wire is kinda bad and quite long,but even if i fully disconnect it the router will do the same,no power led no wifi just the internet led on ,no dsl even .it doesn't make any sense and i cant find a similar problem online...it was working just fine and then suddenly this happened
wires can fail, mine did. replace them and see if that solves your issue.
