Hi @chiragchau23538

I understand that your Redmi Note 5 is encountering an issue where it turns off by itself and gets stuck on the MI logo when you try to turn it back on. This type of problem can be frustrating, but there are steps you can take to troubleshoot and potentially resolve the issue.

First, try a soft reset by holding down the power button for around 10-15 seconds. This action can often help in cases of minor glitches causing the device to malfunction.

If the problem persists, you might want to attempt booting your phone into recovery mode. This can usually be done by pressing and holding the Volume Up button and the Power button simultaneously. From the recovery mode menu, you might find options like "Wipe Cache Partition" or "Factory Reset." Keep in mind that performing a factory reset will erase all data on your phone, so it's crucial to have backups if you choose this option. or you could put your device into recovery mode and reset your phone from there

Another troubleshooting step is to boot your phone into Safe Mode. This can help determine if the issue is caused by a third-party app. Press and hold the power button, then tap and hold the "Power Off" option on the screen to boot into Safe Mode. If your phone doesn't get stuck on the MI logo in Safe Mode, it might indicate that an app you installed is causing the problem.

If you've recently updated your phone's software, the update might be causing compatibility issues. You could consider updating to the latest version or rolling back to a previous version to see if the problem gets resolved.

If none of these steps work, and the issue persists, you might need to consider a factory reset from the recovery mode menu. However, if the problem is related to hardware rather than software, it's advisable to visit an authorized service center or a professional technician for further assistance.

Remember, any troubleshooting steps that involve resets can lead to data loss, so it's important to back up your important data before attempting them. If you have any doubts or concerns, seeking professional help is always a good option.
