My laptop screen turns black

When I use my laptop for a long time,the screen turns black whenever I press any key or the mouse pad

@zahramohamed what is the exact model of your computer? what have you checked? Have you tried an external monitor? Does it do this when it is connected to a power supply as well as on battery only?
