Replaced subwoofer only to notice the connector is different
Hello all! I was replacing the subwoofer on my mid-2010 13" MacBook Pro when I realized the connector I received from iFixIt was a bit different from my original one (factory version). I verified it was the right part before I bought it, so maybe its just an updated part? Any ideas on how I attach it again? I'm no stranger to soldering, but I feel like this might require some kind of heat tool or something & I don't want to melt any nearby connections.
Left is new iFixIt one, right is original.
Here's a photo like requested (sorry for the delayed response). The circled area is where it was connected.

@mhall4321 post an image of your logic board showing the area where the connector is supposed to be. Let's see what that looks like.
