My phone overheated and cannot charge

Hello! Overheating phones can be an annoyance at best and a safety concern at worse. One of the first things I can recommend to check to see if your charging port is clean and not blocked by gunk. I would also recommend not using the phone while it's charging and ensuring it's in a cool area away from direct sunlight. Now onto the overheating this issue can be caused by a multitude of circumstances first will be to ensure you close any and all applications when done, second delete applications that you do not use to free up space. Afterward, keep checking your phone to ensure it's not overheating. If it does continue, then it may be a battery issue, which, if it was, ensure there are no bumps on the back of your phone. If you detect any bumps or it's uneven, then your battery is bloating. Take it to a shop or repair it yourself. I hope this helped!
