Why in phone settings fingerprint option not showing?

In phone settings then go to passwords and security setting not showing any fingerprint option totally removed this option just showing face lock and other security passwords...

This is a common issue with the Redmi Note 9s. According to xiaomiui a force restart or factory reset can fix the problem. Best of luck ^-^
