Where to source this connector? I need it for a repair.
I want to know which specific connector this is, if a name for it can be given it would be accepted.

That would be a ZIF connector, for Zero Insertion Force. It is probably available commercially on sites like mouser.com and digikey.com, but those can be a pain in the wazoo to locate. You'll have to know the pin spacing and the dimensions of the connector and probably have to page through literally hundreds of choices to find the right one.
Hopefully it doesn't come to that, because it will be much easier if you can find someone who's already done that work for you and is offering them for sale. I ran across one site that is selling ZIF connectors for your board, but it doesn't look like they list the exact one you're looking for. You should check for yourself; your eyes are almost certainly better than mine.
It's not at all uncommon for a manufacturer to use the same connector more than once on a board or even on multiple boards, so if you see one that's got the right number of pins and is the right size it would be worthwhile to buy one and see if it matches the one you need to replace.

@dadibrokeit I found a replacement on aliexpress, which now leads me to identify it as the volume ZIF socket, my question now is how do I source it on mouser or digikey since aliexpress takes an eternity to ship. Thanks

That's a tough one; the AliExpress ad doesn't give any clue as to how to identify that part so it's really no help in finding it elsewhere. We can try to find an equivalent somewhere else, but we'll need measurements. Count the number of pins, then take LxWxH measurements in millimeters and also measure the spacing between the contacts. It may be difficult so you can always measure like 10 pins across and divide by 10 to get the individual spacing. It'll usually be a round number like 1mm or something.

@jeros21 To be honest, you might be best off just ordering the AliExpress ones; they are showing a two to three week delivery time for my address, although yours may differ.
