A button is not working

Hello,

After some time I wanted to play with my 3DS XL, but for some reason the A button is not working anymore. Everything else is working. I don't really understand how it happened since it was in its protective cover.

Have you tried taking it apart and cleaning the membrane with ipa ?

I haven't tried anything yet since I'm not comfortable with the idea of opening it without knowing what to do, but I'll try this and post an update, thank you !

I fix it has tear down guide use it so you don’t break the console

You might need a tri wing screwdriver

So here's my update : I took it apart, and I cleaned it but it seems like it's the motherboard that's faulty, so I guess I'll just bring it to a repairer. Thank you for your help !
