I replaced my trackpad and now my keyboard and trackpad aren’t working

I replaced my trackpad on my laptop and when I booted it up. The trackpad and me are not working. The only key on the keyboard that is working is the power button.

Check the connection of the trackpad cable at the trackpad. It can seem plugged in but not really be. If the trackpad is not connected properly, the keyboard will not work either because the data is routed through the trackpad.
