Right joystick is pointing staright up after replacement.
Hello, after months of painful stick drift, I decided to replace the right stick on my dualsense controller. However, after doing so, the stick works side to side but on the y axis is stuck pointing up and the only movement that is registered is on said axis is on the bottom half.
Basically the whole range of the stick is just in the lower half and nothing is registered in the upper half. Did I get a malfunctioning stick? Or do I need to "center it"? I can attach a video if more detail is needed. Thanks for the help!
Here's a video detailing the issue:

@ihave0idea Hi, thank you for the answer. And sorry, English isn't my first language, I'll try to clarify my issue a bit:
I replaced the right stick on my dualsense controller because it was drifting. After replacing it, the horizontal axis works fine, however the vertical axis is stuck pointing upwards (in software) when it's physically centered.
If i move the stick up, the output in the software doesn't change, if I move it down it covers the whole range, from the very top to the very bottom.
Its new "central position" corresponds to when it's tilted 45° downwards. I don't know if you can calibrate these potentiometers sticks, or if there's an issue with them and I need to replace them again.
Thanks for the help!
Edit: I've added a video in the post.
