How much would it cost to replace my mousepad on my MacBook Pro 15' (2009)

Most guides show that you have to replace the whole topcase to replace the track pad, but if fact the part can be found for under $40.00 by doing a search for "661-5244 & trackpad. It's just a matter of four screws to replace it once you get to it.

I replaced just the trackpad on my late-'08 15" A1286 MBP. I was able to get the part off eBay and it took about 45 minutes total. I think I paid ~$50 for the part. I did have to buy a tri-wing screwdriver in order to set the depth/click of the pad.
I wrote up a how-to somewhere on this site but unfortunately I didn't take pictures.
