makes the startup sound but screen doesn't turn on
installed new LCD on mine but laptop itself powers keyboard lights up and makes the startup sound but screen doesn't turn on tried HDMI to external and all works just not the actual new LCD display??

Hi @kidstv,
Did you disconnect the battery from the motherboard before replacing the display?
With the laptop turned on, try shining a flashlight at an angle close to the laptop screen and check if you can see any images at all.
They will be very faint if they are there so trying this in a darkened may help.
If there are images then there's a backlight problem with the display.
Please confirm the model number of the laptop?
Also why was the screen replaced?

Screen replaced because manufacturing problem at this series so i do not recommend G512 at all but my problem fixed by a technician that i will describe at this post.

@amirhossei32629 so what was the fix? Remember that the screen was already changed on this device, so that problem has been resolved. What do you think could be the issue now :-)
