Keyboard replacement - No guide (Yet)

I have an old ASUS X401A and need to replace the keyboard, there is no guide on how to do this that I can see under this models guide list.... is it OK to try to make a guide and use existing pictures and instructions from other guides on this model and just add the keyboard removal and installation process as I do it?
