Hi . I tried replacing my left analog with a new one due a drift issue, but now it's stuck on pointing up . Tried to put the old one back and same issue. Is there anything to do to try save it or it need a new board now ? Thank you

Hi!
So the old one has the same issue now? Then most likely a solder pad/trace is damaged. Please make some photo's of the board and share it with us. With this we can determine what need to be done. Thanks!

Also , i know the potentiometer is not there , i tired without one and it still points up . The left/right works fine
@hamodizoabi Would you happen to have pictures of the board to ensure the traces within it aren't damaged?
I tried, not sure if you can actually see anything.
Would it be possible that I over heated the board ?
Overheating the board is possible. Because other components can be damaged with too much heat. Best thing to do is to post a picture (if possible). If a pad broke or trace, we should be able to see it. Thanks!

Sorry for the late reply i didn't have time to take pictures.
Here is some pics , and yes i took the potentiometer off and it still pointing up
