Good learning book for Cocoa

Does anyone have any suggestions for a good book to help in the learning process for Cocoa programming? I am starting a self-taught program on learning to make apps in Cocoa. I have an app in mind to make and just want to get a good tutorial book.

I have the "for Dummies" book and it just doesn't speak well to me. It's not a bad book, it just doesn't speak well to me personally, so I'm looking for others that might.

This is a great question, and I am personally very interested in the answer, but it belongs on another forum (or in our discussion board). We're going to keep content in Answers repair-related.

I appreciate the contribution! We just want to have the right kind of discussion here. The discussion forum link gets replaced once you join the beta, but they're still around at ifixit.com/Discuss We will leave them around indefinitely for people who want to have discussions about things that are not repair related.

Thanks for being patient with us as we work through this. We're protecting the signal-noise ratio very carefully. I upvoted some of your other answers. :-)

Traditional expert forums tend to work great for a while, but eventually devolve into a variety of side topics. The reason we want to keep the conversation focused is to protect the purpose of the site getting derailed, and stay focused on our mission-- helping people fix things.

When a programming tutorial goes to 2nd or 3rd edition such as Cocoa Programming for Mac OS X 3rd Edition by Aaron Hillegass you can be pretty sure the information speaks to a large audience in an above average way, ergo the multiple revisions. It has to be worth a look.
