When I put the charger cable into my port it is not connecting so my phone isn't charging. If I put the cord on any angle it will not work either. Is there a way to repair this problem expect replacing the insides of the phone, like the charging port?

Make sure there's no corrosion in the port, try cleaning it with alcohol and a toothbrush, or sharp tweezers not wet, maybe not making connection because of lint, other than that, could need a port replacement.

It was flashing when I pressed and holded the power + volume up button after I cleaned the charging port with tweezers, but no signs of life after.
