Controller turns on but will not work

So basically i took my controller apart to repair something, when i plugged it back in, its light lit up, which means the power supply is working fine. However it wont respond to any button pressing. Also, when i plug it into my pc it shows that a device is connected but in the Xbox Accessories app, it wont show a connection. The cable that connects to the motherboard might have a Problem, but i am not sure. Does anyone know a fix?

Hi there!

First I would advise to get the motherboard out and clean everything. Replace the button pads if needed. It's possible that something on the motherboard died, but let's try this first.

If this failed, then you do need to measure some things on the motherboard.
