Squares and dots allover screen while playing.

Hi! While playing the game, squares the size of the steamdeck processor with red dots popped up all over the screen, I quickly turned it off and now Steam starts but the screen doesn't work. Has anyone had anything similar? I don't know how to explain it too much but generally it seems that buttons, touch, etc. work but the screen doesn't respond at all
