Pixel 3 only charging one way round

About a year ago my pixel suddenly stopped charging and recognizing any devices on type c. I wiped the port with isopropyl alcohol and cleaned it. After which it began to charge, but only one way round. Charging, as well as type c headphones and other devices, work only on one side of the port. I tried resetting the phone to factory settings, but it didn't change anything. I changed the battery because it was in bad condition and also replaced the type c board. This also did not change anything. Of course, it is time to change the phone, but for now I use it as is and I would like to know what wrong with it anyway. I also attach a screenshot of the message that appears every time I connect something to the port with the broken side.
