Wont stay on when unplugged

Whenever my Roku remote is plugged in, it functions perfectly. However, everything indicates that it’s at 100% in the settings and in the top right corner. But, as soon as I unplug it, it behaves as if it’s completely dead.

I have 3 Rokus and none of them plug in for power. They all have batteries - so maybe your batteries are dead. The Roku stick plugs in to power. Obviously, it is dead if there is no power.

So, what is the real problem?
