Hello I got a 3ds XL from a second handed website and the bottom screen s touch wasn’t working so i opened it to check and i found out that the clip is removed and a little pin is slightly bent I would like to know if it’s fixable. The little clip is also a bit damaged and I tried to put it back but it’s so tiny I can’t put it back. Someone told me that I can use kapton tape but I’m just lost.

Hi there!
Usually this is lost and you probably won’t get it fixed with any tape. Also the pin is bent, so this won’t be a easy fix.
I would replace the connector for a new one! This should do it. But, you do need soldering experience to get it fixed.
Just solder it out and solder the new one in.
