Why doesn't it have the second SIM card slot working
The second SIM slot doesn't recognize any SIM card i insert into it. What could be the problem?

Have you checked that the 2nd SIM card port is turned on, you didn't say?
Go to Settings > Connections > SIM card Manager and enable the 2nd SIM card port
