The laser eye has fallen off the reader. What is the best glue that a regular person can buy to reattach it and perhaps the steps to ensure it is done correctly. TIA

Gel type superglue works if you are careful. Very little is needed here and care must be taken not to get glue on the lens itself. The lens must be properly oriented as well.
Two small drops are all that is needed. Note that the lens must be fully inserted into the assembly and must be straight. Any angle will prevent it from working properly.
