What model is your speaker? The repair procedure is going to vary depending on which one it is.
I'm afraid you're not likely to find a repair manual for your speaker; very few consumer electronics manufacturers release them (if they even exist) to the public. There may be guides or videos available that we could point you to once we know which model you have.
A recommended step before full-on replacement is cleaning the port, I usually find people have some lint or fluff in the port of their devices clogging it up and not letting the cable plug in fully,
I'd recommend using some air duster and a small plastic dental pick to try and gently clear the port of any dabree
