Is this Sandisk usbdrive salvageable?

I have this 256gb sandisk usb drive rhat has some data on it I'd like to get back. There’s mild damage on the larger of the two black squares and 2 pins missing. Also a small crack in the usb metal part and possibly also a bend. I have no idea what to do here but I just wanna know how bad this damage is, if the data is salvageable, and how much any possible repairs would cost?

Plugging it into ports doesn't give me any access and i have no expirence with sotering

@katieschirmer let's see the damage. That way we can better judge what you got going on here and the best way to repair it.

The main issue coming at you is that you have "no expirence with sotering" which will most likely be needed to fix this. How important is this data to you and where (country/state only) do you live? May be we can recommend someone that can help you locally.

Depending on the damage it might be possible to solder a new connector (cheater cable) onto the pads of the circuit board to bypass the damaged connector. If the circuit board is too badly damaged you might be able to desolder the chip depending on how it was mounted.

In either case you’ll need to find someone with the skills and needed tools and this still could still end in failure.
