Hi,
Please help. My new iPhone 16 Plus had a sudden shutdown and when I checked analytics, it shows a panic full and says Panic CPU 4 caller. Can you please help me identify if it is a software or a hardware issue. The Apple service center was too far from my location so I needed some insights if this crash needed an urgent service or it can be resolve with troubleshooting.

Why are you trying to debug this? Unless you installed a misbehaving App the issue is all within Apples code.
Sadly you didn’t give us the full crash log and besides without a crash reader it will be difficult to nail anything definitively.
Best to visit an Apple Store to see if they can figure it out, frankly they are more likely to give you a replacement phone so they can ship yours out to HQ. Hopefully you have Apple Care coverage still on your phone. So make sure if you can delete or copy off anything private or important!

I was trying to see if I should make an appointment with Apple service center or if I should just do some troubleshooting. The service center was too far from my location so I needed to be sure before going there.
