When the person receiving my call is in a noisy environment they cannot hear anything at all of my speaking. Other conversations are OK though occasionally sound cuts in and out. The no sound at all is a new problem. is there a setting in the phone software or hardware that would produce this problem? Thanks for advice.

Sadly, you can’t fix the remote phones sound from your phone. The microphone logic within the phone can have sound canceling as well as cleaning ability (the newest iPhones have some amazing tech to do both) but you are dependent on that persons phone.
But even the person in the noisy environment can’t hear you clearly as well just using the phones speaker. That’s why ear buds and bone transducer tech can over come the noisy environment you are in.

Have you tried using a Bluetooth Ear Buds or other wireless in the ear/contact solutions?
The most newest generation of phones have more effective sound filtering in noisy environments. See if both your issues are better with in the ear or bone transmission headphones.

Sorry...i probably did not make that clear. Its the person who i am calling who is in the noisy environment eg a restaurant worker taking a phone order; my grandchildren screaming in the background when their mother is trying to take the call.
