The battery screw is stuck, what do I do?
The screw that holds down the battery is stuck. It appears to be okay, not stripped, but I can't get traction with the 00 philips head. What should I do?

I once in a while come across this problem. You need to put quite a bit of pressure on the 00 Phillips screwdriver, even if the screw is stripped, this should get it dislodged and get the screw on the way to being unscrewed. Take it slowly.

You can take a little bit of paper and hold it over the screw and push the driver into the slots and turn it. The paper will attempt to fill the gap and allow the driver to turn the screw. Hope you resolve your issue.
