Why can't I connect to a 5G WiFi network?

I have a Wi-Fi network with a 5GHz connection and another with a 2.4GHz connection. When I try to connect to the 5GHz network, it doesn't appear. I tried scanning it with a QR code, but it still won't let me connect.

Hi @jossmanujpan

Have you verified that your network router's 5GHz wifi is enabled and that the SSID is visible i.e. can you detect and connect to it OK with another 5GHz capable device?

Does the phone detect and connect to the 2.4GHz wifi OK?
