The iPod Seventh Generation, marketed and sold as the "iPod Classic", was released in September 2009, and did not have any visible differences compared to the previous version. It simply replaced the previous 120GB iPod Classic 6.5 with a thin 160GB version.

Sadly, Apple dipped the official schematic for the 7th-gen Classic, but based on the pad size, layout, and the surrounding components, that spot is almost certainly one of the small decoupling capacitors on the power rail. On these boards it’s typically a 0.1 µF (100 nF) 0402 ceramic cap.

I can’t say 100% without a donor board to measure, but the layout matches the standard bypass caps Apple uses all around the SoC. A 0.1 µF 0402 MLCC (6.3V or higher) should be a safe and correct replacement.

Still, i recommended you get a doner board (like 10 bucks) to be absolutely sure because its been 2 weeks since i last repaired a 7th gen classic
