after replacing battery connector, the phone will not power up, gt pic

i am in need of some help, a customer came in with an iphone in need of repairing, the battery connector was broken and the phone would power up but not stay on without a charger plugged in, this was because of the battery connector, the plastic piece was broken, so i replaced the connector, and everything went smooth until i powered it up, it is stuck in activation mode and will not go further, but stays non without the charger, also when i press the 'i' which should show the imei number, it doesnt show anything, anyone shed some light on this
