    • Going around the edges of the laptop, apply light to moderate amounts of pressure away from the laptop to unseat the cover so that it can be removed. Once you have removed the cover, place it face-up in a safe place to avoid getting the inside of the cover dirty.

    • If you are having trouble unseating the cover by hand, a nylon spudger can be run around the perimeter of the laptop to help lift the cover away from the case.

Flawless! the harness on the replacement was a little long and lumpy, but the back went back on just fine.

I just can't get one of the screws out - by the sd card slot. Any suggestions?

Any good sources for the replacement battery?

Nice guide. Thanks. I have the same model. May I know if it’s normal for my laptop not to work if the battery is removed? I removed the battery pack because they are bulging and not charging anymore. Since it will still take me a long time to buy a replacement and I already have many works pending, can you help me make it work with just the adapter plugged in? I badly need to finish my projects.
