Canon EOS 40D Date and Time Battery Replacement

If your date and time battery needs to be replaced, follow this guide to replace it. The required date and time battery is a CR2016 lithium.

This was so helpful, thank you! Also if you are in a jam and do not have a CR2016, you can use a CR2032 directly without using the normal battery tray.

the battery was stiff while getting it out, Make sure the battery orientation is correct
