DigiLand DL700D Battery Replacement

This guide will cover the disassembly and replacement of the battery for the Digiland DL700D. The battery is attached to the mainboard by soldered wires, so some soldering will be required. We recommend reviewing iFixit's soldering guide here.

    • Remove the device's back cover using the plastic opening tool.

    • Heat up the soldering iron, proceed to desolder and remove the battery connections.

    • Remove the battery from the casing using a nylon spudger.

    • Be careful not to puncture the battery casing.

    • Carefully peel the battery free from the casing.

To reassemble your device, follow instructions in the reverse order. Apply new Kapton Tape and apply extra solder as needed.
