This guide shows you step by step, how to replace the heating plates for the Fahrenheit FHT 125PRMR hair straightener that are not working when powered on. Use your fingers or a plastic opening tool to open the side hinges on both sides of the device.

Using a Philips head #2 screwdriver remove the 7mm black screw from the hinge of the device.

Using the metal spudger, push through the hole the screw was removed from. Doing this will push the copper pin out of the other side.
When the pin is removed the two sides of the device can now separate.
Be sure to collect the spring that is next to the hinge when they are separated.

Using Philips head (PH1) remove the 6 mm black screw that was underneath the spring as well as the 6 mm black screw next to the heating plate. Remove the panel the screws were holding down.
