After removing the chrome ring, slowly lift up the remaining piece with tweezers.

Slowly remove the small plastic bottom using the Plastic Opener tool. Be careful not to bend the metal frame when removing the bottom plastic piece.

Using your hands, remove the white plastic piece, revealing the small metal frame, the scroll wheels, and the trackball.
