Apple updated the 12.9" iPad Pro and released the 3rd generation iPad in October 2018. This generation is similar in size but has a larger display with narrower borders. The face of this iPad no longer has a home button and the single lightning port has been replaced with a USB-C socket.
The model number can be found on the back: A1876 for the Wi-Fi only model, and A2014, A1895, or A1983 for Wi-Fi plus cellular models for various markets.
