It is predicted that by the year 2050, the globe will double the quantity of electronic waste produced. This is concerning given that current strategies to reduce electronic waste are ineffective. Lipor together with European Recycling Platform (ERP), developed a new strategy: CREW.
CREW is a network of centres to repair electronic waste, giving a second life to devices previously thrown away while also engaging and educating the greater community towards a solution for electronic waste. The centres are supported by and give back to their communities and contribute to positive environmental and social impacts.
