Speaker not producing audio
(The speaker isn’t making any sounds when plugged in and turned on.)
Broken speaker
Make sure that your headset is either fully charged or simply plugged into your computer. If your headset still fails to produce audio, it is a high possibility that a speaker (or both) are blown out. A solution to this is replacing the blown out speakers with new functioning speakers.
Headset will not turn on or function correctly
(The headset is plugged into the headphone jack and still won't work)
Headphone Jack
If your headset is not turning on or only working some of the time or at half the efficiency, it is most likely a power related issue. First, check the inside of the import jack for any dirt or foreign objects. If the port is clean of debris, it may be a problem with the basic wiring.
Microphone not working
(I talk into the microphone but nothing is picked up and my friends can't hear me)
Broken Microphone
First, check and see if your headset is on mute. If it is, unmute it by clicking on the mute button and check to see if it is picking up sound. Then check if the headset is plugged into the headset adapter fully. If it is and it’s still not picking up sound, the problem is your microphone and it may need to be replaced.
Broken external components
(there’s a crack/ bend in my headband and I want to replace it)
Broken headband
The piece that holds both ear pieces together has snapped or has a crack in it and you want to fix it. The easiest way is to tape around it and it would do the trick. If it is still loose and is not a proper fit on your head, you can replace the rail with a brand new one for a perfect fit.

Hi my astro a40 tr randomly disconnects and the ps4 says headset disconnected but after like 2 or 3 seconds the sound comes back on but then it says no microphone you can use whilst normally the mic works fine just when the headset disconnects and comes back on the mic stops working. Do you guys maybe know how to fix this?

I was getting up to run downstairs and pulled my headset with it and pulled the cord out of both the headset jack and controller jack and when I plug it in it registers and when I go to Xbox party the ring around my gamer pic pulses like I’m speaking but I can’t gear anything through my headset

Everytime i reset my console or turn it off the next time I turn it on i can't hear anything from the headsets it showing me its on but no audio i just got them few days ago astro a40 tr with pro moxamp for my Xbox series x

Windows indicates sound is coming through the headset according to Sound->Playback, but nothing is coming out of the headset. Does anyone have any suggestions about how to resolve this?

I’ve had my headset for years and I’ve gone through many of astro’s the terrible cords. Now I cannot even use my headset on my main Xbox controller. I had a backup running for sound for 4 days until that cut off too! I’ve ordered a new Controller to see if that works since it’s still in warranty but my hopes are not high.

I just bought the astro a40 x edition and I plugged it into my ps4 controller and all I hear is the TV nothing is coming through the headset. How do I fix it

I use my headset everyday and have never really had a problem with it… until yesterday, I was trying to talk to people but my mic wasn’t picking up any sound. So I tried restarting my Xbox and turning the headset off and putting it back on the charger. That didn’t work so I unplugged the charger from the Xbox for a while. That didn’t work either. Whenever I go to the accessories tab, it says that my headset is charging even though it isn’t and I can’t get fix it.. what should I do?

I have Astro a40 tr and I never had a problem with it until last night I decide to hop off my game and go to bed next morning my mic isn’t working but if I speak really really loud with my mic literally almost in my mouth it picks up my voice I’ve tried factory resetting my Xbox, updating my mix amp firmware, changing my microphone settings from home to streaming to night, and nothing work. Anything else I can do?

Hey I think I have blown out speakers how do I fix them or get replacements for them on my Astro a 50 wireless because they are pretty expensive headsets and I’m not trying to buy a whole new pair

I ha e been having problems with my mic and I tried all the ways you mentioned including buying a brand new mic and it still doesn't work whitch is sad ?

My headsets lose power immediately when leaving the docking station. The docking indicates 4 out of 4 for full power.

hello, I just bought a new microphone for my Astro a40’s but the headset still does not pick up sound. Do they need to be replaced or is there something I can do to fix them?
