Camera won't turn on
The camera won't turn on even when the switch is in the on position.
Dead battery
Ensure that the battery is not dead by plugging the camera in and allowing it to charge. It may take at least 15 minutes of charging before the camera turns on. Allow the battery to charge fully before unplugging the camera.
Hard drive is broken
If the camera doesn't turn on even after the battery has been charged, the hard drive may be defective and may need to be replaced.

Doesn’t operate when power is on
The camera powers up, but doesn't allow the user to record or access menus.
Temperature too high or too low
The camera may have over heated or exposed to cold temperatures for too long.
Turn off the camera and allow it to sit in a dry environment at room temperature for an hour.
Screen is broken
If the camera powers up but nothing is displayed on the screen, the screen may need to be replaced.

Camera won't connect with computer
The camera will not upload photos and videos to a desktop computer.
Cable is not securely connected to computer
Unplug the USB cable and plug it back into the computer to ensure that the cable is fully plugged in.
Cable is connected through a USB Hub
USB hubs are not supported for use with this camera. The USB cable must be connected directly from the camera to the computer.
USB driver is malfunctioning
If the USB cable is securely plugged into the computer but the computer still cannot access files on the camera, try uninstalling and re-installing the USB driver.
Camera won’t record image/video
The camera is functional but doesn't save videos or images.
Hard drive is full
If the memory of the hard drive is full the camera might fail to capture an image or record a video. Try relieving some space by deleting some photos and videos. If you take a lot of photos or videos you might need to buy a hard drive with more memory.
Temperature is too high/low
If the temperature of the camcorder is low, turn it off and take it to a warm place. Also, if the temperature of the camcorder is high, turn it off and leave it for a while in a cool place.
Hard drive is broken
If the hard drive is broken, the camera will not record a video or capture a photo. The ideal thing to do in this case is to replace the hard drive.

Camera stops recording abruptly
The camera suddenly stops recording a video.
Hard drive is full
If the memory of the hard drive is full the camera might fail to capture an image or record a video. Try relieving some space by deleting some photos and videos. If you take a lot of photos or videos you might need to buy a hard drive with more memory.
Battery is dead
If the battery is dead, plug the camera's charger to a power outlet, and also to the charging port of the camera. Ensure that the power outlet is functional.
Temperature is too high
If the temperature of the camcorder is high, turn it off and leave it for a while in a cool place.
Camera was shaken
The internal hard drive of the camcorder may have been disrupted during the recording process leading it to stop abruptly. Restart and hold the camera in a firm position
Recording is blurry
The camera records but its content is not clear or its content is blurry..
Camera is not autofocused
To focus the camera automatically, touch "AUTO" then "OK"
Lens is cracked
If the lens is cracked, the LCD will not display optimum visual quality. You need to get the lens replaced.

Recorded sound is too quiet
Volume of the sound output is low. Unable to hear recording clearly.
Volume is too low
To turn up the volume, touch "OPTION" "TAB" "VOLUME" then "+" on the camcorder.
MICREF level is too low
During recording low volume sets, the MICREF must be set to high in order to pick up all of the sounds. Access the "Settings" menu, select "Audio Settings", and set MICREF to "high"
Wavy lines on screen
The camera appears to be working, however the display screen shows pixelated lines.
Flex cable is broken
You can repair the LCD Display by removing the broken Flex Cable and replacing it with a new one.
