Will not boot up?
When i turn it on it goes to the dell screen then windows is loading files,then it just rotates between them 2 screens,it wont go any further.

david, sounds like Windows is hanging up somewhere. Try to start it in safe mode and see what happens. Since you did not tell us which version Windows you have, check on here for all the safe mode options etc. If safe mode does not work, you may have to repair your installation or even reinstall. Also, try to start your computer from the CD drive. Get a copy of a Live Linux and try to start your computer from that. If it does start, you will know that it is your OS that needs to be repaired.
