My iPod froze so I tried resetting it, however after I did, it became hung up on the apple logo and then a big red x showe up right after. I tried to run the Diagnostic Mode and i found out the the hard drive is probably done for. Any solutions to probably enable me to recover my data?

June, it most certainly sounds like you need a new hard drive. As for data recovery, the only attempt you could make, is to get a zif-to-usb adapter and see which part of your hard drive is still accessible. All your files should be on your computer, if you have done a recent backup. You did not tell us which iPod you have, otherwise I could be more specific. Hope this helps, good luck.
