My mac turns itself off
My Mac turns off by himself. someone one told that it may be some connections problem in on/off button. or it coused by some inner problem?
help me , plese.

I have come across several laptops which would randomly shut down due to heat. Dust built up on the CPU fan would retard thermal performance to a point where the system would power off to protect itself. These computers would do this completely at random, regardless of loading. A few short bursts of compressed air to the fans solved the issue. If you do use compressed air, never blow the air for more than a second or the fans my over spin which will often destroy them.

If your battery is dead, any interruption in the power supply will cause a shut down. The AC power in may be loose, try cleaning the socket and the input as these sometimes get crud on them.

I can't realy tell you. I just bought it used few days ago.
but it turned off without me doing anything special.
P.S as i said battery is complitely dead and , i dont know if it matters , guy i gought this Mac from , instaled windows 7 on it...
What system are you running? Is it shutting down when the Windows system is running? Do you have an external backup drive?
yes, it windows. My friend can install me snow leopard , as soon i'll bring him extra ram memory. it only has 512 now( i bought 2 Gb , will bring him it tommorow)

on/off button ?
maybe the famous RSS (random shutdown syndrome) ?
does the mac this under heavy usage or is the failure not connectable to the usage ? (like: sometimes turns itself off after 2 minutes - the other day it switches off after 2 hours ?)

it's like you said. didn't depend on the usage. It turns off sometimes after one min. and sometime after 2 days

Can you describe the problem to a greater extent. How long has it been on when this happens? What are doing at the time? Do you have any really hot spots on the bottom?

Does it do this while on battery power or when the AC charger is pulled in or both?

on the AC ( the buttery is dead, i orded new one)
