i m using window 7 ultimate , actually i have problem with nvidia chip 8400 graphic card how can i fix it because many times i noted blank screen while doing working or at the starts of system , vga i have also updated its bios from A 09 to A10

shahid, first you have to be absolutely sure that it is the video chip. Try to work with an external monitor and see if that makes a difference. If that works you have either LCD problems, or inverter issues. If the external monitor has the same issue, than you know it is your video card. The video chipset is on the motherboard and cannot be replaced. You would have to purchase a motherboard to replace the current video "card". The only other thing that you could try is a reflow of the GPU. this will of course require some tools like a rework station or at least a hot air gun. Hope this helps, good luck

There are several companies on eBay and via an internet search that repair the 8600 chips.

You can try by attaching an external monitor if does the same thing the problem could be over heating of your video chip and you can open you laptop to make sure that the heat sink is properly connected or the paste is still intact.
If it is fine with an external monitor then you might need to open the LCD bezel or Hinge bezel to make sure that LCD connectors a plugged in properly and no lose contact.
