The vertical strips are dead pixels. That being said a cable could be torn messed up inside your device and so on. Is this a tv a computer or what?

anusha, a single vertical line is usually caused by a TAB eror. Check your signal cables to make sure it is properly seated. If it is, the LCD needs to be replaced to get rid of that line. Hope this helps, good luck.
