screen shows enter current password:? how do I get past it?
it wants the current password that i don't have, ive tried to use an external hard-drive thru usb port...no success. tried to swapout the internal hard-drive...no success.

Try this :
Turn off and unplug the laptop from power
Remove the battery
Open the smallest door on the bottom of the computer with a #1 Phillips screw driver
Look for two small metal contacts labeled RTC(RST). Using a flat head screw driver, touch both contacts at the same time for 30 seconds.
Re-install the battery
Plug in your computer

I have the same problem and have tried all the very helpful solutions with no result. One change to this excellent advice help though is I read to touch the contacts (B500) with the flat blade screwdriver and then turn on the computer. I have tried this way and the way I explained with no result. YouTube was helpful but all the advice was for laptops unlike mine (Toshiba L305). Thank you all for trying but it looks like Toshiba wins again and they'll reset it for over 100 dollars. I'm still debating whether to do this.
