I replaced the display on my A1342, and the image is perfect. Works great. However, when I close the lid and open it again, the display is black again. I forced a shut down by holding down the power button and started it up again, and the display image was bright and clear again. But once again when I closed the lid and reopened it it was black. Any suggestions?

Don't close the lid until you're ready to shutdown the computer. Check the position of the sleep sensor magnets. Verify it's not a software issue
